I've been wanting to try one of these cafeterias for some time and found this! Such friendly service - all the meals / dishes were explained one by one. We had the traditional dish and also the chicken with potatoes. The food was lovely, and washed it down with a yoghurt for desert. Seemed very popular with the locals.

Indoor and outdoor seatings. Open everyday 8 am to 8 pm. I had Chicken & Spinach soup and Beef cutlets. ( Not sure the name in Albanian) they both totaled 560 lek. The food was good. Service was friendly.

Cheap no frills cafeteria style eatery with a very friendly auntie behind the counter. Seems to be very popular with locals with lots of students and police dropping in to eat lunch. Decent food for the price and an interesting experience for someone visiting from the UK!

I wanted to visit such a cafeteria restaurant that served Albanian food and was popular with the locals. The place was actually bigger than it looked from the outside. The location is a bit off the main road, but I hit the jackpot, just as I had imagined it when I read the highlights of the reviews here. One of the male staff explained to me, one by one, the dishes they were serving on that day one by one. There were many options, a wide variety of dishes, and I was drawn to the dishes. That's why I ordered too much, attracted by the food. The taste of the food came from the family run restaurant, the homemade food I was expecting. Besides, one of the staff also ate her meal for lunch during her break, which is rarely seen, but could unconsciously be a kind of good publicity for the visitors. In other words, to show that they are proud of their home-cooked food. In addition, one of the staff continues to wipe and clean the glass doors, which means that they look after their own property all the time, not just at mealtimes. I hope that this place will be full of love from the locals around it. # Albania # Tirana
